Here's a little bit about me and why I do what I do.
My name is Julie Maloney and I’m a qualified coach based in the UK. I’m happily married with two sons and I love meeting people and helping them create a richer and more fulfilling life. I specialise in helping people worldwide grow a home-based business whilst juggling other commitments like a family or a full-time job so that they can make more money and feel less stressed.
I've struggled with health issues, low self-esteem and depression since I was a teenager. This has meant going out to work full time was always difficult. Which is why I started on my entrepreneurial journey making and selling doll making supplies and accessories 20 years ago.
I discovered coaching a few years ago after struggling for years with health issues, depression and anxiety. I was amazed at how powerful it was and I knew it was something I wanted to do. So I went back to college and not only qualified as a coach I received a distinction. My studying didn't stop there I took confidence, stress management and counselling courses too. However, even though I was transforming lives I really struggled to get a consistent flow of clients.
Early wins rarely translate to long-term success
I knew that if I wanted to help more people I would have to step things up. I started working with a coach again and I took courses from some of the top social media experts in the world. That's when my passion for Instagram was born and it quickly became my number one source of leads and connections.
Understanding the magic formula to using social media for business was a huge breakthrough
My life coaching practise grew through the power of social media and it wasn't long before people were asking how I had grown a social media presence of over 30k. So I decided to switch focus. Using a powerful mix of coaching, training and mentoring I specialise in supporting people grow their business even when they are time poor or stressed.
I'm also really passionate about growing communities. Running a business can be extremely lonely but it doesn't have to be. I decided to start a free Facebook group called 'Rock Your Home Biz' where like-minded individuals can support each. A place to ask questions, make friends and network. In such a short amount of time it's grown in to a wonderful place to hang out and everyone is super supportive.
I'm so grateful to have found my passion. I love connecting and coaching people all over the world.
It's not a job to me it's my mission!
Since I started on this amazing journey I've discovered a real passion for learning. When I'm not coaching or hanging out on social media you will find me listening to podcasts, reading and generally trying to absorb as much information as possible.
Coaching is all about results. My customers not only see results in business growth like brand awareness and greater sales and profits they have also have an increase in self-confidence, reduced stress and are much more productive.
